Description
Cosmos grow in abundance along the stream running through my property, I had just picked some and placed them on the kitchen table when the early morning light streamed in and said "paint me". I used a reference photo to capture the light of the moment to ensure my painting would have that same spontaneous moment of glowing sunlight and shadow. The title is symbolic of not only the literal but also of reflecting upon Psalm 100:3 written in the journal.
