Description
Who can truly understand what motivates an artist to create a certain work of art? To this day it is still a mystery to me why something beckons or calls me to produce a certain work in a specific manner. I tend to think it is just a feeling deep within ones soul that calls and speaks to you in a manner that is indescribable. All I know is that something moves me to create in a certain way....sometimes on canvas...sometimes in the garden...sometimes within an interior and sometimes on furniture or vehicles. Recently old dilapidated furniture has been calling out to me seeking a second chance at life.
This painting was created on an old federal style end table that I was upcycling and felt it needed something more to complete it and create a feeling of love, warmth and nostalgia.
NOTE: the fine art America watermark will NOT appear on the final product.
