Malanda - your gardens seem similar to ones we used to have. Although we had just over an acre, we had many flower beds and a vegetable garden which we designed and enjoyed. The black eyed-susans we had which looked like this painting were fun because they were low maintenance and filled the garden so nicely! Unfortunately the new home owner removed most of the gardens because he couldn't maintain them.
Malanda Warner replied:
Always heartbreaking to put so much love and labor into a previous home only to see it destroyed or run down by the following owner. I live only minutes from one I left over two decades ago and I can't bear to drive by it anymore.

You are amazing, Malanda, in many ways! You have an extraordinary talent , your paintings are exquisitely detailed ... & you have time for looking after a few flower beds (as well as paint them) ... as well as many other things. I think I need a personal assistant to point me in the right direction! ... or something... ; Bravo, Malanda!;))
Malanda Warner replied:
Connie, I am honoured by and appreciative of your very kind words! I also could use an assistant, gardener and a maid. Since starting on FAA, my gardens have weeds, the house is dusty, dishes overflowing and I am running on coffee fumes! :-))

Wow, I am amazed at your floral paintings! Your garden must be spectacular! We used to have a huge garden years ago before we moved. Lots of work, but beautiful memories!
Malanda Warner replied:
Thanks Liesl, I have many gardens spread out over a few acres. Just can't seem to stop planting and trying out new varieties of shrubs and flowers.
